React Job: JavaScript Developer

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Javascript developer with experience between API, UI and Database access as well as good experience with Cloud Architecture and deployment, ideally on the Azure platform.

The ideal candidate will be passionate and opinionated about user experience and keen to play a larger role in overall product development (we see the UI & UX as key factors in the success of any good product).

Core responsibilities will include planning and production of a modern UI/UX design as well as the conversion of this design to efficient, modular code. Ability to write backend API code with node to support the frontend also an advantage.

What you will do:
o Working directly with management to build a new set of web applications for our new platform

o Craft and mold the overall look and feel and design of our new web applications.

o Be directly responsible for building these new applications on our cloud infrastructure

o Development and maintenance of these frontend applications.

o Build Cross-browser & Cross-device UI

o Unit testing and automated end-to-end UI testing scripts

What you need:
o A degree in Computer Science or related IT degree

o Minimum 2 years of commercial experience with HTML front end development

o Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and modern Javascript.

o Proficiency with CSS pre-processors (e.g. LESS, SASS) and build tools (e.g. Gulp, Grunt)

o Experience with one or more javascript libraries/frameworks: AngularJS, Reactjs, Vue.js, etc

o Experience with server-side javascript (node, express, etc)

o Experience interacting with SQL (mssql, mysql, etc) and NoSQL databases (Mongo, etc)

o Experience integrating web apps with RESTful APIs.

o Strong knowledge of responsive design and development.

o Comfortable with version control system, e.g. GIT
